WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CHEVY CPO AND PRE-OWNED?
There are a few key differences between a certified pre-owned Chevy and a regular used model. For one, a CPO Chevy has to meet certain requirements that a used model would not. It first has to be from the past six model years or less and have no more than 75,000 miles on the odometer. Then, it undergoes a 172-point inspection and has any necessary repairs and safety recalls addressed.
In addition to those important requirements, there are other special bonuses with these certified models. These include the following:
- 6-Year/100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty (includes Roadside Assistance)
- 12-Month/12,000-Mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty
- Complimentary Vehicle History Report
- Two scheduled maintenance visits within the first 2 years or after 24,000 miles
There are even more perks. In compatible vehicles, you’ll also receive a 3-month subscription to OnStar® safety services as well as a 3-month subscription to SiriusXM® that extends to your smartphone and computer. None of the above perks mentioned will be found in a standard used Chevy model.
